Designed in Federal style, the home sits on an unusually large corner lot. Both design of the home and the landscape that surrounds it, including large mature trees that were to be kept, help the new home fit into its surroundings as if it has always occupied the site.
Private Residence #2 - Little Rock, ArkansasA approximate 6,000 s.f. new home, still under construction, located in West Little Rock on a five acre tract. The home exhibits several prominent design motifs expressive of the rich variety of spaces within and their playful interconnection. The house opens towards a beautiful pond, located nearby and connects it with a private pool and lanai in the back.
Private Residence #3 - Little Rock, ArkansasA new 5,000 s.f. home just coming out of the ground, will occupy a prominent site over looking the Arkansas River and Dam. The traditional front façade, facing the public street will contrast dramatically with the contemporary and glass-filled rear façade which looks out over the river.
Private Residence #4 - Scott, ArkansasConstruction is almost complete on a new 4,000 square foot home along Old River Lake in Scott, Arkansas. The new home was intentionally nestled on a site between wonderful oak trees, taking advantage of the lake views while offering shelter from afternoon sun. The home adapts French colonial style with more local, vernacular details.
Private Residence #5 - Little Rock, ArkansasRuby Architects, Inc. assisted P. Allen Smith & Associates in the design development and documentation of a new monumental stair addition to an existing home in Little Rock. The stair provides a more powerful, yet graceful connection from the home to the newly landscaped back yard and pool area where the home owners often entertain.
P. Allen Smith’s Garden Home - Pulaski County, ArkansasA new 6,000 s.f. home currently under construction atop a mountain on beautiful acreage West of Little Rock. Ruby Architects, Inc. assisted with the documentation and detailing of the project in association with P. Allen Smith & Associates.
