Projects on the Boards

Ruby Architects, Inc. is currently involved in several projects either now under construction or in planning stages:

Alameda River Plantation

A new, 7,000 s.f. private hunting lodge to be located in Eastern Pulaski County, Arkansas on a newly established 12,000 acre Wetland Reserve. It is the largest consolidation of privately held land as a Wetland Reserve in the United States. The new lodge will serve as central gathering space for members that own individual cabins within the reserve.

Private Residence - Almyra, Arkansas

A new, 8,300 s.f. residential addition to an historic farmhouse in Southeast Arkansas. The design is meant to be sympathetic to the existing farmhouse, though accommodate a large family in a new home reminiscent of plantations in Natchez, Mississippi. The ell-shaped footprint accommodates the classic floor plan of working plantation farm houses and surrounds an existing pool.

Private Residence - Warren, Arkansas

A new, 4,000 s.f. home constructed on pine-covered property that has been in the owner’s family for generations. The new home, in vernacular style, is meant to appear to have been on the property for decades. It utilizes recovered antique, old-growth pine throughout its interior and exterior.
